I love both versions of the guys and it's nice to see some of the more obscure stuff be re-interpreted for today/ Like these guys here as well as some Toei properties like Kyodain, Inazuman, Kikaider and Akumazier 3.
Thanks,so much! But I haven't seen it Fireman yet or any of these shows. Don't even know where to look since I'm pretty sure no sub groups ever picked it up. I'm not even sure where to find RAWs of any of them.
I very much agree with the Megalo, Zone and Spect. I mean comeon Megalon is has the most wicked monster rock hair Honestly though he is cool and has some of the most entertaining fights. Its way better than Zone. Toho really did do a good job with that series.
pretty much lol. Though i've never seen Redman, i've seen brief stuff on youtube but i dont own it, it just looks so aweful. Makes Toho's Greenman and Godman series look like a masterpiece. Right now a series i'm really into is called Juspion. It's a metal hero series, normal size sentai guy that has armor but he battles giant monsters with with giant spaceship that turns into robot. (no power ranger combining stuff). He has the most kickass theme song in his fights too.
i managed to get the TNT dubbed and the original japanese versions. You know...as much as i love Ultraseven, it's hard to watch his series for long periods. So much melodrama and just alot of the plots are the same. Random alien invades and takes over people. I mean its not bad, I just find it hard to watch for more than 3 or 4 eps at a time. Now Fireman and Mirrorman i can watch all day.
I can see where you're coming from, but the Showa Ultra shows just have this 'flavor' to them, especially Ultraseven, that I just dig. I've caught bits of Fireman and Mirrorman but not enough to form an educated opinion.
